  • I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Auberge du Prieuré Normand in Gasny, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. The local French cuisine, reimagined with advanced techniques, was simply outstanding. Every dish was a remarkable blend of tradition and innovation. The afternoon began with a delightful aperitif, setting the stage for what was to come. The whiskey cave is a hidden gem, offering an impressive selection of premium whiskies that perfectly complemented the meal. And the desserts – true French masterpieces – are an absolute must-have. Each one was a delightful conclusion to an incredible dining journey. If you’re looking for an exceptional lunch experience, I highly recommend visiting Auberge du Prieuré Normand. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss.

  • 12 days in France and making conscious decisions to eat well Top 2 meal of this trip. Hard to find open restaurants Paris included on Sundays. In Giverny today and seen this highly rated on lots reviews Auberge in the next couple of towns over and with limited choices we went with it. Pleasant surprise. Incredible flavours well executed from clearly using quality ingredients and portions decent enough all makes for incredible value for this three course for €54 pp . • We had a very nice evening meal here after a long day's drive, great food beautifully presented, and the staff were very patient with our less than perfect French! I particularly enjoyed the selection of seven cheeses that I had instead of a sweet dessert, all local I think, and my wife said her steak was the best she'd had during our 2 weeks in France. If we find ourselves in the area we'd definitely come again.

  • Quintessential French cuisine with a modern twist. Unfortunately, some of the dishes are unnecessarily complex, some of them lacking basic things such as salt or seasoning. Sometimes simple is better. Impeccable Service.

  • After a visit to the tourist trap ‘house and gardens of Claude Monet’ where we were struggling in Monet’s bedroom with 50 Chinese and Japanese tourists this restaurant was an amazing refuge. The piece and quiet of the French Normandy countryside came back. The chef’s friendliness and dedication was fantastic. The lobster pot (cassollet de homard au soternes) was a great success, recommended by both of us. The pear chocolate caramel desert was a (heavy) sweet delight.

  • We had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The food was exceptional! Both the presentation and flavors were great! I wish I had noted the names of the dishes but I had a roast pork dish and my wife had chicken. For my son they made a chicken with mashed potatoes dish of which he ended up ordering two portions. Bare in mind that children's portions are rather small and if your child is hungry they might not be enough!

  • We had a wonderful relaxing Sunday lunch in the Auberge. The three course lunch was excellent, and the service very professional and relaxed. We look forward to return to this restaurant while staying in the area.
